Fashion,

Furry Sweaters & Caffé Mochas

Okay, we get it, this weather isn’t going anywhere. Perhaps the bad seeds man has been planting through pollution and exploitation of our natural limited resources are finally being reaped, maybe the world actually is ending. So with the weight of mankind’s impending doom AND the numerous CATs and assignments being thrown my way at school, I really needed a good cup of coffee. Not the kind of coffee to jolt you into a determined to-do-list clearing spree at the break of dawn but rather the kind you just sit, sip and enjoy. For me, that’s a caffé mocha aka the mochaccino: a shot of espresso, hot milk and some added chocolatey goodness. ?
After an exhausting Friday morning (and most of the afternoon) spent trying to beat the deadline of quite a difficult assignment -don’t worry, I made it ?- I decided to pass by this lovely café known as Kafe Afrikana*. They have the best coffee around town (and in Thika). Don’t believe me? Go check them out yourself. You won’t be disappointed. They have the warmest staff and the most affordable prices. You’ll keep going back! Did I mention their black forest cake? It’s easy to hit or miss this type of cake but theirs is definitely a big hit.

For this look I decided to go with a warm, furry sweater to fight this Nairobi cold, paired with tights and the most comfortable ankle boots I have ever owned. Pretty simple but just cute enough!
